"Sometimes our first and greatest dare is asking for support."
DR ANNA LAGERDAHL
Asking for help at times of difficulty can take a lot of courage. And yet, psychological distress is something very normal, that everyone experiences at various points in life and has their own ways of dealing with. Sometimes, our usual ways of managing difficult feelings and situations do not quite work, and we may find ourselves seeking external support.
I have been working in the area of psychological health for over 15 years, and hold a doctorate in clinical psychology. I am guided by psychological science, collaboration and compassion and offer individualised psychological assessments and interventions, using a range of psychological approaches, to both individuals and couples.
Additionally, I offer consultations, supervision and training to other healthcare professionals and organisations.
Appointments can usually take place in Bristol and Swindon, or online, via video sessions.
However, in line with the social distancing guidance around the COVID-19 pandemic, all sessions are currently taking place remotely via video or telephone.
