CONSULTATION, TRAINING AND SUPERVISION
Supervision is an area I have a lot of experience, training and interest in. I am on the British Psychological Society’s register of approved supervisors (RAPPS) and offer regular supervision to psychologists and other healthcare professionals, including medical doctors, nurses, counsellors and others.
I offer both individual and group supervision. If you would like to discuss supervision arrangements, please contact me here.
TEACHING AND TRAINING
I have worked as a University lecturer for 7 years, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. Additionally, in my NHS role, I provide training regularly to qualified and trainee psychologists, as well as most other healthcare professionals working in physical health settings. This includes GPs, hospital doctors, nurses, counsellors, physiotherapists, dieticians and occupational therapists.
My most frequently requested teaching topics include 'recognising and managing psychological distress', self-care (healthcare professionals and professionals in other organisations), 'supervision skills' and 'living with physical healthcare problems'. If you have another topic in mind, contact me and we can discuss what I will be able to offer.
